Lodging in St. Lawrence CountyWhile visiting St. Lawrence County, accommodations range from the rustic cabin or cottage on the water or in the woods, to a luxury suite in a castle. Get away from the hustle and bustle of the phones and technology, or stay in a place with wi-fi or high-speed internet connections. The County has some wonderful bed and breakfasts so you feel at home while away, or comfortable hotels and motels in the center of everything. There are a number of properties that rent out an entire house for lodging, although the owners are not on the premises. Guests can make their own meals, or visit one of the any number of nearby restaurants. Some are in the middle of picturesque villages, others in very rural settings. This offers another option for short or longer stays. Check them out under the vacation rental listings. If you are planning a vacation on the St. Lawrence River, look for lodging in Massena or Ogdensburg. If you are looking for the cabin to rent on a lake, Black Lake has great opportunities for families as well as the outdoor angler. If you are looking for the Adirondack experience, check out places in Star Lake, Cranberry Lake or Wanakena. And of course if you want to be in the center of everything, Canton and Potsdam are your best bets. |
